Multi-modal protection

Match the deterrent to the structure, species and operating condition.

No single mounting point or output method fits every grid asset. A compact distribution-line device has different installation and power constraints from a tower-top unit or a substation video-linked system.

ECO uses infrared triggering and multiple deterrent modes so the device can respond when activity is detected. Depending on the model, the response can combine ultrasound, strobe light, vibration, audio, laser and optional electric deterrent.

Reference coverage, temperature, service-life and ingress figures come from the product configuration sheets. Final performance depends on installation position, site geometry, target species, climate and the signed technical agreement.

01

Distribution lines

Magnetic, line-hanging and CT-harvesting formats for compact installation near conductors.

02

Transmission towers

Drone-assisted, base-mounted and 4G-controlled devices for tower-top or mid-tower positions.

03

Substation equipment

Dual-sided, laser and small-animal deterrent formats for varied equipment and post locations.

04

Remote evidence

PIR detection, camera recording and platform uploads can document activation and site activity.

Representative models

From compact line devices to connected tower systems.

Use the table to narrow the product family. Final selection should confirm mounting, live-work constraints, communications, target coverage and climate.

Detection to evidence

Connected deterrence can document what happened.

A video-linked small-animal workflow can turn an isolated field device into a traceable operating record.

01

Infrared detection

A PIR sensor detects movement within the configured zone.

02

Camera wake-up

The camera records activity around the device.

03

Deterrent action

Selected ultrasound, strobe, vibration, audio or laser functions activate.

04

Platform upload

Images or video can be sent through the configured communications path.

05

Record review

Operators review events and adjust timing or functions by season.

Selection guidance

Choose by installation point, not only by range.

Coverage figures are only useful when the device can be mounted safely with the correct orientation and power supply.

Which deterrent methods are available?

Depending on the selected model, ECO systems combine sweeping ultrasound, strobe light, vibration, audio, laser and optional electric deterrent or bird spikes.

How are the devices powered?

Most models use solar charging with an internal battery. A line-powered model uses CT energy harvesting with solar support and has a reference starting current above 5 A.

Can the system be monitored remotely?

The 4G model supports remote switching of the unit and deterrent functions. Video-linked small-animal systems can combine PIR detection, camera recording, deterrent action and uploaded evidence.

What should I send for model selection?

Provide the asset type and installation point, target species, desired coverage, available power, mounting restrictions, cellular coverage, climate and whether remote evidence or live-work installation is required.

Protect grid assets

Send a site photo and mark the installation point.

We will recommend the power method, mounting style, deterrent combination and remote-control option for the application.
